The links below will take you to the best visitor information websites where you will find all the information needed to enjoy your stay.

Exmoor National Park

A unique landscape of moorland, woodland, valleys and farmland, shaped by people and nature over thousands of years. See below for details of the famous 'Two Moors Way' linking the moors of Dartmoor & Exmoor

Exmoor Zoo

Enjoy a day out in North Devon experiencing wildlife from around the world by visiting Exmoor Zoo! From the creepy crawlies of the Amazon to the wobbly wallaby joeys of Australia there are plenty of hands on activities with our animals for you to take part in.

Lynton & Lynmouth

Referred to as 'Englands Little Switzerland' the picturesque and unique twin villages invite you to explore and discover what makes North Devon & Exmoor so special. An experience on the water powered cliff railway is not to be missed.

Our beaches

North Devon's award winning and postcard perfect beaches are some of the largest, unspoilt and memorable in the UK. Any time of the year, the beaches offer long walks on golden sands, surf that beginners and experts can enjoy, and family fun.

Two Moors Way

Passing nearby you can cross the magnificent moorlands of Dartmoor and Exmoor on the Two Moors Way. Now part of the Devon Coast to Coast route it is suitable for both long-distance and day walkers. Two National Parks, two coasts, and over 100 miles of breathtaking countryside.

The Tarka Trail

The Tarka Trail is a pedestrian and cycle way in the North Devon Biosphere Reserve. It runs in a 163 mile figure-of-eight through landscapes little changed from those described by Henry Williamson in his classic 1927 novel Tarka the Otter. Parts of it coincide with the South West Coast Path.
